Pravej Letňák: The First Digitalized Outdoor Cinema in the Czech Republic
Summer Cinema Černá v Pošumaví is the first digitized summer cinema in the Czech Republic. It is located in Černá v Pošumaví near Lipno and offers a wide range of films for all age groups.
The cinema is open from June to August.
- June and July: Opens at 20:30, screening starts at 21:00.
- August: Opens at 20:00, screening starts at 20:30.
Screenings take place in almost any weather, there are 130 covered seats available. Screenings are cancelled only in case of storms or other natural disasters.
Visitors can borrow blankets and pillows for free (limited number, bringing your own is recommended). Cash only is accepted at the cinema, the nearest ATM is at the municipal office. Dogs are allowed if they do not disturb the screening.
Theatre performances for children
Theatre performances for children are held at the Summer Cinema in Černá v Pošumaví every summer Tuesday at 17:00. A refreshment kiosk is open during the event. Do you think that being with children at Lipno means spending a fortune every time? Not necessarily, admission to the theatre performance is free.
