Pravej Letňák: The First Digitalized Outdoor Cinema in the Czech Republic

Summer Cinema Černá v Pošumaví is the first digitized summer cinema in the Czech Republic. It is located in Černá v Pošumaví near Lake Lipno and offers a wide range of films for all age groups.

The cinema is open from June to August.

June and July: Opens at 8:30 PM, screening begins at 9:00 PM.
August: Opens at 8:00 PM, screening begins at 8:30 PM.

Screenings take place in almost any weather, 130 covered seats are available. In case of a thunderstorm or other natural disaster, screenings are cancelled. Visitors can borrow blankets and pillows for free (number is limited, we recommend bringing your own). Only cash is accepted at the cinema, the nearest ATM is at the municipal office. Dogs are allowed if they do not disturb others.

Theater performances for children

Theater performances for children take place at the Summer Cinema in Černá v Pošumaví every summer Tuesday from 5:00 PM. A refreshment kiosk is open during the shows.
