In Lipno nad Vltavou, you have the opportunity to experience two completely different bobsled tracks in one place. The alpine coaster and the trough track are intertwined and offer completely different experiences. While the alpine coaster offers the feeling of a real descent from the hill, the trough track resembles a wild water slide. You can try both and compare which one grabs you more. What makes this bobsled track even more interesting is its location. During the ride, you’ll have beautiful views of Lake Lipno and the surrounding Šumava landscape.
Modern bobsleds allow for manual speed regulation, so everyone can choose their own pace. Parents will appreciate that both more cautious children and little racers thirsting for maximum speed can enjoy the ride. Thanks to this, the attraction is suitable for everyone – from the youngest to seniors. A major advantage is also that the bobsled track is in operation year-round. In summer, it refreshes and entertains after swimming; in winter, it’s a great alternative to skiing or a pleasant end to a day on the slopes.
The bobsled track is located in the Lipno Lake Resort area and is easily accessible by car and on foot. Children from 3 years old can ride accompanied by parents, and independently from 8 years old. The complex also includes the Bobovka pub and a children’s playground – ideal for a break between rides. In the summer months and on weekends, we recommend booking in advance to avoid waiting.
