From our apartments, you have Lake Lipno literally at your fingertips. In front of you rises Mt. Plechý, the highest mountain in the Czech part of the Bohemian Forest, and below it gleams Plešné Lake. And that’s just the beginning.

Lake Lipno – nicknamed the “South Bohemian Sea” – is a great starting point for trips of all kinds.

Lake Lipno is a paradise for nature lovers. You can simply explore the area around our apartments or head out on one of our favorite trips:

  • Plešné Lake – A glacial lake in the deep forests of the Bohemian Forest. An ideal full-day trip that you can combine with an ascent of Mt. Plechý.
  • Bear Trail (Medvědí stezka) – A relaxing educational route that leads you into quiet forests. It is one of the most beautiful walks in the area.
  • Vítkův Hrádek – A ruin with a beautiful view of Lake Lipno. You can drive almost right under the castle, so it’s a great trip even for those who prefer an easier trip.
  • Schwarzenberg Canal – A unique technical monument from the 18th century where the water still flows and the place has its own rhythm. The route has charm in every season.
  • Around Hůrka and Horní Planá – If you don’t want to go far, simply explore the area around our apartments, whether along the reservoir or in the nearby forests.

Our family apartments at Lake Lipno are the ideal base for exploring the area – whether you’re heading out on a hike, visiting monuments, or on a trip with kids. Peace, comfort, a large garden, a pool, a children’s playground, and our fish restaurant await you, where you can enjoy a great meal when you return.

And the kids? They certainly won’t be bored – there are plenty of cycling paths, beaches, and other family experiences in the area. And when you want to take them fishing, you can go with them straight to the Hůrka Trout Fishery right behind the apartment fence.
