Want to see Lipno from a different perspective? Head for a quiet ride via Maňava. Expect beautiful views of the countryside, minimal tourists, and a return along the water.
We know this route from Hůrka to Horní Planá and back by heart with our children. It’s a relaxing ride along the shore of Lake Lipno that even smaller children can handle. You can look forward to stops at beaches, ice cream, and beautiful views of the lake. It starts right at our apartments.
The route leads through Jeníšov, where you will come across the first refreshment options, and right behind it a small beach, ideal for a short break and swimming. From there, you continue along the beautiful cycle path along the shore to Horní Planá.
We regularly meet parents with trailers, seats, and groups of children on bikes here. In Planá, the main public beach awaits you with large facilities and plenty of refreshment options. With the children you can swim here or rent a pedal boat. The return journey follows the same route back to Hůrka – and at the end of the trip, you can recharge your batteries in our Fish Restaurant.

- Pack your swimsuits right from the start – there are two stops for swimming.
- The path is very popular, so expect more cyclists in high season.
- If the children still have energy, you can extend the route in Horní Planá further towards Nová Pec.
